I. The world doesn't need new clothes. An ironic statement for a clothing brand, but this belief is the foundation of CAMPBELL&KRAMER. With nearly 100 tons of textile waste accumulating annually, we couldn't justify harvesting more virgin resources to make more clothes. In a world oversaturated with fashion, the true art isn't creation: it's reinvention. Every CAMPBELL&KRAMER piece is a second life for an idle input: something new and beautiful made from something old and exhausted.

II. Personal authorship. Presley and I, Alden, met as freshman roommates at UCLA. We started the brand in our dorm room in 2019 to make unique pieces from existing materials only. We design it, source it, test it, and wear it. These are the pieces we felt were missing from our own closets, now yours to have and cherish. That personal lens is shaped by where we're from. We manufacture where we live: Los Angeles. Presley and I also grew up in Southern California, and that laidback coastal upbringing shaped our design language and our appreciation for the natural world.

III. Elevated essentials. We know this product because it's what we wear every day. LA is a hub for knit manufacturing, so we lean into what the city does best. And basics are inherently sustainable they resist and outlast trend. They also activate the harder-to-wear pieces already buried in your closet.

IV. A love for vintage. We're nostalgic for cultures we do and don't know, for lives we have and haven't lived. Clothes are the physical manifestation of a time, place, or community, and for that reason, nothing we design exists in a vacuum. But vintage isn't always wearable. We take inspiration from archival pieces and translate them into something more everyday, so you can carry that period or place with you. And because vintage is hard to wear on its own, we design essentials that quietly integrate with our vintage collections, yours, and all of the pieces already in your wardrobe. CAMPBELL&KRAMER activates the items you already have in your closest and enhances the unique beauty that's already yours.
